Install & create a free Graboid Video account

 

Many of us never heard about Graboid Video software, so we are going to make a short review. It is a software that allows you to watch movies, tv shows or any video content from your computer. It contains a huge database with over 150.000 movies, tv shows etc. It is perfect for those who missed their favourite tv show or movie because they can watch it anytime with Graboid. There are many more things to say about Graboid but the purpose of this article is to show people how to setup a free graboid account.

 

Step 1 - Installing Graboid Video

 

Before doing anything we need to make sure that we have the latest version, if you use an older version or simply want to check if a new version is available, you can download graboid video before creating the free account.

After you have downloaded the software on your computer it's time to start the installation.

 

Open GraboidVideoSetup executable file and a new window called "Welcome to the Graboid Video 1.4 Setup Wizard" ( at the time that this article was written, the current version of Graboid Video is 1.4 ) will open.

 

Click on the Next button - after this click on I Agree - now choose where to install it, the default installation folder is "C:\Program Files\Graboid", for any reason if you want to change this location you can change it now, if you want to continue the installation with the default installation folder click on Install.

 

The setup wizard will start the installation and it will download some files, please wait as the speed of the installation process depends on the speed of your computer and your internet connection. After the installation process is finished, click on Finish and make sure that "Run Graboid Video 1.4" box is checked.

 

After the installation process ends, this window will appear asking you to login or to create a new account.

 

 

 

Step 2 - Creating a free Graboid Video account

 

Now we need to click on New Account button, so that we can obtain our free Graboid account. After doing so, a new window called "Sign Up" will appear.

 

 

Make sure that you are entering your First and Last name, your e-mail address, choose your username ( you can choose a username in these available formats, for example : johndoe or john2009 or john_doe - you are allowed to use letters, numbers and the underscore character "_" ) , a password for your account and a coupon code if you have one - this field is optional so you may leave it blank. If you are sure that you've completed all fields you can click on Continue button.

 

After this you should see a new window called "Sign-Up - Email Verification" asking you to check your email for a Graboid message. Now you need to access your email box and check for a similar message like this :

 

Subject line : Graboid - Must Complete To Activate Account

Content of the message : Hello Your Name,

You have just registered a new Graboid account, but before you can use it, you must click on the link below to activate your account. If you get an error, copy and paste the link into the address bar in your internet browser.

Once activated, simply double-click the Graboid icon on your desktop, enter your login information, and enjoy!

Now, if you followed the instructions from this email, you should see a message like this in your browser, see the picture below :

 

 

Congratulations, if you see this window, this means that you have created your free graboid account. Now you can go back to the first window that asked you to "Login" or to create a "New Account". Don't worry, if you closed that window, look on your desktop for an icon called "Graboid Video" or at the quick launch buttons. Open Graboid again if it's not running, now enter your username and your password and click on Login, like in the picture below :

 

 

If you entered your username and your password correctly you should see a new window like in the picture bellow :

 

 

If you see anything similar with this picture ( look up in the right corner ) that says "Remaining: 4000 MB" you have successfully managed to login in to your free graboid account.
