How to create a dvd from video files using Super DVD Creator
As you already may know Super DVD Creator is one of the best software used to convert and burn popular video file formats like AVI, MKV, WMV, DivX, Xvid, RM, RMVB, Asf ,VOB, MPEG-1/2, MOV (quick time), MP4, 3GP to DVD VCD SVCD. It has a lof of features that will help you to create a DVD using your personal video files allowing you to personalize it with your own menus, chapters, subtitles etc. The entire purpose of this article is to show you how to create a dvd from video files using Super DVD Creator. Make sure to obtain the latest version of this software, you can download Super DVD Creator here. Supposing that you installed the application on your computer, make sure to start the application. Once started, the main interface should look like this one :

Make sure to click on the DVD icon located on the right side of the window ( under that icon you should see "DVD Disc Buider" written with orange color ) that will guide us through the entire process. Now you should see a similar window with the one from this picture :

If you are going to create a DVD that will be used on a standard tv, you should check the box called "4:3 For Standard TV" or "16:9 For Wide Screen TV" if you want to use it on a bigger TV. "4:3 For Standard TV" is the standard size so make sure to change it if you will use a wide screen TV. Now, to add a video file or more, click on the plus sign "+" located on the left corner, right under the DVD -5 button. Nagivate to the folder that contains your video files and choose the video file and select "Open" button. If you made a mistake and it's not the video file that you wanted, don't worry you can delete the file by selecting minus button "-".

If you want to add a subtitle for your video file and both of them are in the same folder, it will load the subtitle automatically. Now you should see the video file added on the main window.
If you want to add a subtitle ( if it's located in a different folder ), do a right click with your mouse on the clip and select "Add Subtitle File..." When you're done, click on the "check" button as the "X" means to cancel the subtitle and locate the folder that contains your subtitle and finally click on the "open" button. You should see a smaller window called "SUBTITLE PROPERTY", to be able to add a subtitle to your video file, make sure to click on the plus sign "+". If you want to delete the subtitle click on the trash sign ( it's near the plus sign ). Make sure to select subtitle language and also the "Subtitle Font Size" - it is very important to choose a good font size. Once that you have loaded the subtitle you should see the subtitle name instead of "No specified subtitle file".

Now, to continue make sure to click on the "Next" button and here you can customize your DVD with title menu or with chapters. I didn't modify it, I chosed to continue by pressing again on the button that shows "Next".

Finally, you are ready to start the converting and burning process but there is one thine before pressing the "START" button. Under the "Output Property" section you can see a section called "Encoder Engine:" There are three types called :
1. "Preference by High Video Quality - Lower Converting Speed" ( this should created the best and highest video quality but at the lowest converting speed which should take more time ).
2. "Preference by Normal Video Quality - Standard Converting speed" ( this is the default level for this program which will deliver a normal video quality and a normal converting time ).
3. "Preference by High Converting Speed - Smaller Output Size" ( this will convert the video file to the DVD at the highest converting speed and it will also make the DVD at the smallest possible size ).
Most of the people will probably use option 2 which is the standard one but I used both of them, option 1 or 2. So if you decided which "Encoder Engine" to use, click on the blue button called "START". and the program will start to work. Here is the example of a log file during the converting and burning process :
