Delete history and cookies in Firefox browser

 

I am sure that if you never used Firefox browser before you want to know how to delete cookies, history, cache or browsing history. It's not complicated, it's actually extremely simple and you can even choose to delete all of these each time you will close the browser ( delete automatically not manually ) if you have a good reason for this. I am going to show you all of these in a couple of seconds. Let's get started and open Firefox. Go to "Tools" tab and select "Clear Private Data" ( you can do this with a shortcut by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Del keyboard combination ) as you can see in this picture :

 

 

You should see a small window that shows you what you can delete and by default "Cookies" and "Offline Website Data" are not being selected so I am going to select all of them and click on the "Clear Private Data Now" button.

 

 

That's it, you have managed to delete your browsing history, your cookies etc. and you can proceed in this way each time you may want to delete something related to your privacy. As I said I am going to show you how easy is to custom Firefox browser to delete those each time you close your browser. Go back to "Tools" tab, and choose the last option called "Options".

 

 

Now you should see a window with a lot of options and features, select "Privacy" ( this is the fifth button from left to right ) and at the "Private Data" section make sure to select "Always clear my private data when I close Firefox" and press "OK" button.

 

 

That's it in a couple of seconds you saw that is very easy to delete cookies, history, cache or browsing history in Firefox. It's also known as "Clear Private Data" and you can custom this action to be performed each time we close this browser.
