WordWeb is a English dictionary software for Windows. This software dictionary it is a powerful dictionary for many Windows users and for the most of us is more than a simple dictionary, it's an comprehensive English thesaurus. This program can be very useful to you if you want to search for words from almost any other program like Microsoft Windows Word for example. It display the definitions of the searched word and also his synonyms and his related words. You will see pronunciations included and usage examples and more than this it also comes with helpful spelling and "sounds like links". Coming with the latest version of WordWeb, there are many enhancements and bug fixes and also it includes now full Windows Vista support.

WordWeb is the best English dictionary for Windows that I ever saw. I searched for a lot of other related English dictionary software but I couldn't find a program that can be compared with WordWeb English dictionary for Windows. For example, you can download WordWeb, install it ( which is very easy to install, free and it doesn't contain any adware or any other forms of malware ) and then you can use it right away. Open the program and on the Search window let's search for an word, for example type the word "although". The program will show us the grammar type of the word "although", in this case, a conjunction, the sense of the word, examples of phrases when the word "altough" it's used and synonyms. It is a great software for many users that are interested in learning and improving their English skills. It's another great, must have educational software for Windows.
Other notes :
WordWeb runs great on Windows XP Professional SP2 and Vista. I have tested this software and I didn't noticed any technical issues. Since this is an educational software, the risk for contacting viruses or any other forms of malware is very low. You should be very careful when you download this program since there are some modified, cracked versions that contains viruses, worms or Trojans. Make sure that you will download WordWeb from a trusted website.
