Windows Live Messenger is the predecessor of MSN Messenger, and it's a complete chat solution. For me, and for many other people this is a one of the best choices available nowadays for chat. It's fast, has the same features or at least almost all the features that other popular similar softwares has. Think about it, it has features like sharing folders and files, multiplayer gaming, free PC to PC calls, mobile phone messaging and a nice video chat feature. It even has the support for VoIP ( Voice over IP ) around the world for a small fee but the bad thing here is the fact that you can't receive calls from cell phones or landlines, at least not yet but I guess this option will become available very soon. Those are nice feature that you will find them at many other chat programs but this chat software has a feature that, in my opinion, maked me choose it. It has no ads, it has a very clean interface and this is why Windows Live Messenger became my favourite messenger software for Windows. Not to mention the fact that he is much more stable than any other one on Windows. So, if you would like to test this fine piece of chat software for Windows, then download Windows Live Messenger, install it and try it for as long as you want since it's free and it has no limitations.

Other notes :

It runs great on Microsoft Windows Windows XP or Vista. I have test it and endeed it's very stable. No errors, the interface runs great. I checked on the Internet and I didn't observed any negative reviews. Users seems to be a very happy community. There are only a few advices regarding Windows Live Messenger. Since it allows you to transfer files over the Internet it would be great if you could have installed a good antivirus on your computer. There are many antiviruses designed for Microsoft Windows and you should have one since nobody it's safe on the Internet. If you are going to share files you could infect your computer with an virus, adware or any other malware form even if it's from a person you trust. Remember, a virus will infect your best friend computer if he doesn't protect his computer properly.
