TextPad is a complete text editor for Windows. It has nice features like powerful formatting, spelling checker, file storage options and macros. TextPad is, in my opinion, the best text editor for Windows. I tried to use similar software titles but none impressed me as much as TextPad did. It is very easy to use, has a nice, clean and very useful interface. It is very powerful, for example when I opened files that had MB of text and I simply needed to replace a word with another, TextPad helped me in seconds on an average computer ( regarding computer performance ). It has a lot of languages like English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish and Portuguese. It incorporates even a spelling checker, and multiple files can be simultaneously edited, with up to 2 views per file. You will also find nice features like "Warm Start" that lets you restart exactly where you left off. It is for me a complete text editor for Windows and one of the best text editors for Windows that I ever used. I am not saying it only to sound nice but seriously, I never used such a powerful text editor and I think I will never find a better one. So, if you want the best text editor software for Windows with extremely powerful formating capabilities, download TextPad and use it at least for his trial period.

Other notes :

This text editor has been designed right from his beginnings, only for Microsoft Windows. I used for years TextPad, especially on PC's that had installed Microsoft Windows XP Professional Editions and didn't find a single error. No adware, no malware with this software, it is very clean and although the producers of this great software had slow updates this program is definetely extremely stable. Probably this might be a reason of their slow release periods.
