Being developed since 1998 it became nowadays a mature software that is able to execute a lot of tasks, many of them still remaining unused by the majority of people. I do not want to repeat all his features, since it is very easy to use, has a strong community, a lot of fans and you will find tons of tutorials and howto's on the Internet regarding NoteTab. I remember that my first website was created in NoteTab for example and I like it mostly because it is extremely advanced when compared to a program like Notepad. Download NoteTab, it's free and if you consider that this is what you need, consider purchasing a PRO version, although you have a trial period of 30 days for such versions.
