It can run in invisible mode and it has the ability to send you informations as an syslog notification or through email. It is delivered as a free trial for 27 days, however all features and options are working as a full version, after 27 days you will need to purchase a license and you will also receive free lifetime updates.
MyUSBonly review
After reading an article in CHIP magazine, I was thinking that writing a review for MyUSBonly is going to be a difficult task. But this impression was influenced after reading some articles on the Internet related to USB devices. There was so many details and instructions that seemed to be so confusing or better said so hard to understand written for experts. Finally I found myself writting an entire article about MyUSBonly called "How to block USB sticks and USB storage devices in Windows". The entire application is so easy to install, so easy to administrate that almost anyone can use it. The entire installation process will took you 10 seconds and to configure your USB devices it will take you another minute. The program interface it's not shiny or modern but it's definetely working damn well. You don't need a beautiful interface for such an application, you need an intuitive and a functional one since you will probably choose to run this application in invisible mode. We can also mention here some features that will allow you to add a USB device to whitelist and also the ability to send the entire device usage log.
MyUSBonly additional notes
No errors to report, the program works excellent after testing him on Windows XP SP 3 and Vista. I don't know what should be improved, probably features that would support new versions of Windows like Windows 7 or something that would allow you to run the program in invisible mode, without prompting you to enter the password for the USB devices, something that doesn't says anything unless you're using a keyboard combination and then to enter a password.
