What is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a top anti-malware software that has a high rate of detection against malware like worms, trojans, rootkits, dialers and spyware. Having a realtime protection module that uses advanced heuristic technology ( his main role is to monitor your entire system protecting him in case of an infection ) it can detect and remove malware like no other application. If you want to use all features like realtime protection, scheduled scanning, and scheduled updating you will need to buy a personal license that will cost you a one time fee of $24.95. The main advantage is the price of a license that will be available for the entire life of the product, you don't need to buy a license each year. However, companies and business customers will need to purchase annual licenses.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware reviews

I should review Malwarebytes Anti-Malware based on my personal experience and this is what I've did. First you will need to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and after that you will need to install it. For me, everything went well, it was a fast and a clean installation. The program asked me after the installation was complete to update his database and to launch the application. The update was fast, so fast that I didn't had enough time to see anything due to fact that I was using the latest version. After this I saw for the first time the program interface that was asking me to "Perform quick scan" or "Perform full scan". I would like to mention here that this window will appear each time when you will open the program. So i chosed to "Perform quick scan by clicking on the "Scan" button. The scan has started and the scanning process finished in a couple of minutes. Nothing was found on my computer since I am a "maniac" when it comes to security and privacy. However as an experienced user, I would like to say that I liked the changes window which listed ( at the time for this review ) the recent changes or better said updates. And I saw there "(FIXED) Improved full scan times significantly", "(FIXED) Improved memory usage (more to come!)" and "(ADDED) Disinfection for certain USB spread infections (Conficker).". Sure there were many changes listed but those are the ones that draw my attention. I wanted to mention this since recently one of my friends infected his entire computer with a version of Conficker ( a computer virus that spreads through USB devices like external hard drives, memory stick etc. ) and I tried to use several known anti-spyware applications and even antiviruses to stop and delete the virus. Finally I was able to remove it with my favourite antivirus but I couldn't find an anti-malware application capable to remove the virus. So, it's good to know that this application can protect your computer in a better way. Now, you probably wonder if there is something that I don't like. Yes it is but it's insignificant so you don't have to agree with me.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware additional notes

If you like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware software you've probably noticed that it's a shareware application and that means that it's not free and you have to buy a license after the trial period ends. There is one thing that I didn't liked. Since it's specified on their main website that "Activating the full version unlocks realtime protection, scheduled scanning, and scheduled updating." then why do I have to test a program that is in a trial mode. So I am going to test a trial program but without those features available while in trial mode. I mean, it's not a free program like Ad-Aware where you can use it for free but if you want "realtime protection, scheduled scanning, and scheduled updating" you have to pay. I know that it's not such a big deal since Malwarebytes Anti-Malware it's shareware but I wanted to mention this since I couldn't find any issues while using it.
