I used for the first time Internet Explorer on a computer running Windows 98 in 1999. It was my first experience with this browser. After that I use it on Windows Millenium, 2000 and finally XP and Vista. Over the years I experienced crashes and situations when my computer was blocked because of an website visited with Internet Explorer. However starting with Internet Explorer 6 this browser has been improved. I started to switch back from other browsers to this one and now after Internet Explorer 7 was installed on my computer running Windows XP SP3 I would definetely continue to use it. It has almost anything that you might want from a browser but I would like to mention here that stability and security were improved. If you think that other popular browsers like Firefox or Opera are better than this one you should use them. Right now I was extremely impressed, he suit my needs totally and I don't feel the need for a change to other similar browser.

That depends on your operating system. If you're using Windows XP SP2 or SP3 or Vista, Internet Explorer 7 or 8 should work fine. If you're running a version of Windows prior to Windows XP we don't know if Internet Explorer 7 or 8 can support your operating system but you could try Internet Explorer 6 ( you will also be more vulnerable to malware ).
