Internet Download Manager is being developed since 1998. It is one of the oldest download managers and definetely one the best. If you didn't use it before you should know that he is able to download file segments and files simultaneously, to resume and pause each download by only using a button. Also, it became so popular for his easy-to-use mode. Being so intuitive and easy to use every beginner should be able to use it without no extra indications. He is so popular also because of his download manager most popular browser support application. I personally use it in 2001 for the first time and back then I was browsing the Internet over a dial-up connection. When I was downloading all kinds of files it happened oftenly to be disconnected from the Internet. After several downloads I was scared and I wanted a program that could help me to download faster or to pause a download in case of an interruption. I started to ask friends, personal research and I discovered this software. First time I was a little skeptical since I couldn't believe that such a program could ever exist. After I install it on my computer, a revolution happened, suddenly I was able to download files, programs, music, every file format without being forced to start the download again in case that my dial-up connection was dropped. That wasn't the best thing that was happening. I noticed that my Internet download speed was improved and better than this it was very stable. Each time I remember I am laughing, because I was calculating the download speed at that rate and I was so excited to find out that in 5 hours for example I will be able to download a 70 MB file ( at a download rate of 4 KB/s ). This program never disappointed me and that's why I stronly advise everyone with a dial-up, ISDN, ADSL and why not even broadband connection ( interruptings of your Internet connection can occur in any moment ) to download Internet Download Manager, install it and enjoy the benefits of a good software.
