Best ftp software or the easiest one ? It's hard to tell, although it's not the professional version of CuteFTP, this program has all the features you need to upload your auction images to an FTP Server, upload your web pages to your ISP FTP Server for viewing in a web browser, backup critical files to an FTP server in case your system crashes, download the latest game patches, programs or game demos from participating FTP servers, upload work files to an FTP, server, download large files faster than when using your Web browser and to upload or download multimedia files such as music, images or video files. I am using the home edition of CuteFTP for years now and I am conviced that this is a perfect solution for what I need. Sure, go ahead and see the main differences between the home and professional editions. If you need more functionality and even more functions than you should skip the home version and purchase the professional one. I personally love it for two reasons. I like the Drag and Drop feature that allows me to simply move with my mouse any file from my Desktop or computer folders, straight to my webhosting account. I mean, there is no method that you could apply to upload or download your files. This is also a very nice feature and it's my favourite one, a feature that other FTP clients simply doesn't have it. Another thing that I liked is the installation time and process. It's very easy, very transparent and intuitive. I didn't see complex setup screens to ask for your webhosting details, ports, passwords, users and so on that could discourage a begginer from using a program. In conclusion, you have to try it, I personally strongly recommend it, it's the easisest FTP software available on the Internet. You won't be disappointed, since I am another happy use of CuteFTP Home.

Amazingly or not, this software has no major technical issues, coming with the latest version of CuteFTP Home, some bugs were fixed like unable to connect to TitanFTP using a SFTP protocol, logs were not being saved and the problems where Data URL's were causing sublinks to go on forever using HTTP protocol. This FTP software is continuously being developed since his first launch in 1996 and it is now a mature version. However, for those who didn't used a FTP software before, for beginners I have a personal advice. Never use such programs to upload and download all kinds of file formats without using a good antivirus. This will protect you and your computer reducing the chances to lose important files. Another good tip that you should know is to backup each time your work. For example if you want to upload a rare file, your website work or anything else, never upload it or download it without creating a backup. You will avoid unpleasant situations and your work will always be safe.
